The wait is over! Tha Vill’s new video for the summer club smash ‘More Than Friends’ featuring Kele Le Roc has arrived and is launching this week.

Shot over 2 days in a Los Angeles mansion in September this year by actress turned director Shannon Elizabeth [American Pie, Scary Movie] the setting provides the backdrop to a storyline with a surprising twist. As Tha Vill arrives at the house party, it soon becomes apparant that all is not as it seems with London's r&b queen Kele Le Roc playing a key role as the story unfolds.

The versions shot for the lead mix, a top 10 DMC Club Chart entry this year, and for the new UK Rockswayer mix, are in fact only half the story to be concluded with a second video to be released later in the year. An unusual but fresh concept for an urban/dance video, breaking away from the regular formulaic imagery prevalent in the genre.

Although from LA, Tha Vill has chosen the UK to premiere the video to tv stations given the level of club, radio & public support he has had here with the record. While it will be released globally via the internet, and regular stations around the world will be serviced shortly, it was the UK who first supported previous videos such as "Happy Hour" via Kiss, Flava and Channel AKA. Combined with the huge levels of messages of support he has received from these islands, and of course with the feature of London's own Kele Le Roc, it was a natural decision to make

As an artist who has, with his Kage production partners, written & produced for luminaries such as The Saturdays, Flo Rida, Akon and The Game, he’s had over 9.5 MILLION verified online plays via www.thavill.net as a featured Myspace artist, produced and appeared in station idents for VH1, MTV and the Fox Network. More Than Friends has enjoyed global radio & club support, including a number 1 spot in Australia, thanks to the variety of mixes on offer.

The new UK remixes have seen further new support come via BBC 1Xtra, Choice FM and BBC Asian Network.

The Bosco dubstep mix transforms the original record and takes it to a darker synth heavy soundscape. With a remix for Jason Derulo newly confirmed, Ayo proves himself again to be a fantastic talent with his electronic r&b production, while Rockswayer provides an already highly popular breakbeat refix currently a favourite with 1Xtra's CJ Beatz.
