North London’s best-kept secret – Producer KADER swaps the desks for the mic ready to launch his debut single ‘Eyes’.

Multi talented producer, singer and songwriter Kader first came to public attention as part of the grime and funky production duo ‘Hypnotiks’.

With his partner Leon Vandal [SMI], they produced beats and videos for notable UK artists Mike GLC, Donaeo, Corey Johnson, Faro, Lefty and G-Fresh. Their production for Crey Mey's "Bubblegum, which also featured Kader, went on to be a major street hit with heavy rotation on Channel AKA.

However, with his main influences cited as Jodeci, R Kelly, Bobby Brown and Michael Jackson, he has decided to embark on a solo career to focus on a new musical direction and showcase his ability as a strong live performer. The 26 year old is treading new ground and has delivered a highly impressive debut release with his self written and produced single ‘Eyes’.

While his mainstay is studio production, Kader is keen to showcase his all round talent in the best traditions of the R&B craft. Expect to see a number of live dates announced in the coming months as he also continues to write his new album.

The single ‘Eyes’ draws on the flavas of late 90’s R&B but brings it up to 2010. Kader's influences are evident here, leaning on the styles of Teddy Riley, Timbaland and The Neptunes but adding his own unique contemporary twist. The radio edit is a stripped down R&B production with a laid back vocal and an enslaving chorus. The single’s a step sideways from the regular current R&B output - a slick and well written production with a smooth vocal delivery that hits the mark.

Kader describes his sound and says "I like to produce something new and different, mixed with the old skool 90's R&B sound but with a slightly more abstract, edgy and eclectic style. It's distinctive but infectious, I have a definite vision of how I want to develop this, I take from the old to produce something totally fresh"

With his debut solo album releasing on his own Beat Academy Entertainment label in the works for 2011, this first offering gives notice of a remarkable talent and promise of things to come. The package is complete with Grime and Funky mixes by Kader himself while London's DJ Mappa chips in with a massive wall of electronica that completes an exceptional record.

Kader's knowledge and passion for music, his dedication and outstanding ability all combine to ensure he'll be one of London's biggest discoveries for many years, beginning now with the single ‘Eyes’.
