Brooklyn rapper Justo the MC & UK producer Brelstaff sign with New Dawn Records to release the new album "Urban Testimony"

 

Independent hip hop label New Dawn Records have announced today the signing of Brooklyn rapper Justo the MC and Edinburgh producer Brelstaff for the release of the new album "Urban Testimony" on November 3rd 2023.

A series of singles will preceded the album beginning on August 1st.  The entire theme of the album relates to Justo's short and turbulent stay at Clark Atlanta University, an experience he describes as resulting in "reaching the crossroads of my life", and is a fascinating insight into events leading up to and during his time there, the lifestyle he witnessed and the far reaching consequences affecting various aspects of his future.

The instrumental version of the album was released in April, a soundtrack fuelled with lofi chilled beats laced with elements of jazz, electronica and ethereal sounds.
