New Hip Hop Interview - God Is In The TV speak with Matt Maddox

Multi genre online music magazine God Is In The TV caught up with Kansas based MC Matt Maddox ahead of the release of his sophomore album "Righteous Fury" which releases on Red Phone Records / Seven 13 Music on 25th February.

Although now based in the MidWest, he started out in Long Beach California as part of the international crew Guerilla War Tactix, and in this interview with the magazine's Taytula Burke, he speaks on being raised on the best of the Golden Era, and how he looks to represent a contemporary form of that today. He also speaks on his time living in Hawaii, the representations of hip hop from west coast to east coast to the UK and Europe, and how the different scenes have developed, Macklemore's win at the Grammys and of course discusses the new album
