Hip Hop in English review new Apex Zero album "Reality Provoking Liberation"

West London emcee & producer Apex Zero released his debut solo album "Reality Provoking Liberation" on 28th October to critical acclaim.

Drawing from the sensibilities of hip hop from the Golden Era, he has received plaudits for addressing a wide range of political and social issues in his rhymes & lyricism, delivered with his trademark firebrand flow. The latest online publication to endorse the release is the UK's Hip Hop In English

In opening, they introduce the album as "a verbal lambasting directed straight at the head honchos holding office all over the world. Delicate it is not." before dissecting the lyrics, beats, tracks and summarizing "Heavy, yes. Hard hitting, yes. Informed, skilful and dynamic, yes. It’s a philosophy self described as Neo-Hardcore. Not for the casual listener, but definitely one for those willing to open their mind and question their surroundings."

Meanwhile, Apex has been busy putting the finishing touches to his live set for the album launch party taking party on Saturday 7th December, upstairs at The Vibe Bar, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL. It's set to be one of the hottest hip hop events of the month as he will also be joined by Caxton Press, Iron Braydz (Triple Darkness), DJ A Gee (Itch FM) and regular Hoochinoo host Peaches.

Entry is just £5.00 on the door, the night runs from 8pm - 1am with the nearest tube station being Aldgate East. Apex built up a reputation for his live performances at events such as End of the Weak, Speaker's Corner and the raucous shows as part of The Pantheonz of Zenn-La, so this should prove to be a big show with so much quality on display. Definitely don't miss this one!

You can hear Apex and Iron Braydz together on his earlier single "A Meeting of the Continents" where theyre also joined by Hasan Salaam
