South Africa's Hype Magazine carries a monthly column At Street Level written by London based journalist Semper Aziz Harris

In the October issue, the column features news on Murs & Fashawn, Snoop, Wu D-Bloc and London's Melanin 9

Melanin 9 releases his new album "Magna Carta" on 3rd December, his first official album release following on from highly rated mixtapes such as 144,000. Renowned for his lyricism and mic skills, he's built up a highly respected reputation as one of the UK's leading wordsmiths which has also seen him build a fanbase on mainland Europe and in the United States

The feature in Hype includes news of the relase together with video footage of him performing for the BBC's Charlie Sloth "Fire in the Booth", his "Manorlogz CIpher", and official videos Strange Fruit and Organised Democracy
